In this training, neighbors come together to learn what movements have done around the world to win this fight and get the playbook to stop authoritarianism in 2026. We end each training with a call to action followed by local breakout groups, giving neighbors a chance to build relationships and plan ways to bring in more people and take action together.

On National Voter Registration Day, we will engage lawmakers in Washington, D.C., to support a resolution and commit to free and fair elections and to no election interference by signing a pledge and ensuring that our communities’ stories and needs are impossible to ignore. It's a day of nonpartisan voter participation, being in community with each other, and making sure every eligible voter has a plan, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count.

Election Hero Day is a nonpartisan, national celebration recognizing the tremendous contributions that election officials, their staff, and poll workers make to ensure a safe, secure voting experience for all Americans. Taking place on October 20, 2026, nonprofits, business leaders, brands, public officials, and more will unite to honor the election heroes in our communities.

When Americans vote early, they ensure that last-minute problems will not prevent them from casting their ballots – and help shorten voting lines on Election Day for everyone. But voting early rules – both for in-person and by-mail options – vary widely all over the country, causing confusion and preventing voters from casting their ballots.
